Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026  ·  SeedlingsFarm.com

At SeedlingsFarm.com, your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account registration: name, email address, phone number, and password.
  • Nursery profile: business name, address, location coordinates, operating details, and branding images you upload.
  • Booking requests: contact details and order information submitted when requesting a booking.
  • Communications: messages or enquiries you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and features used.
  • Device & log data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.
  • Cookies & sessions: session tokens used to keep you logged in securely.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account, including email and phone verification.
  • To operate and display nursery listings and facilitate booking requests between nurseries and growers.
  • To send transactional emails — verification codes, password reset links, and booking notifications.
  • To send administrative alerts (e.g., new account notifications to the platform owner).
  • To geocode nursery addresses and enable location-based search.
  • To detect fraud, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve and maintain the Platform through usage analytics.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described below:

  • Between users: A nursery's public profile (name, location, varieties, and contact info) is visible to growers. A grower's name and contact details are shared with a nursery when a booking request is made.
  • Service providers: We use Postmark for transactional email delivery, Mapbox for location services, and Twilio / WhatsApp for OTP verification. These providers access only the data needed to perform their services.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SeedlingsFarm.com and its users.
  • Business transfers: If SeedlingsFarm.com is acquired or merges with another entity, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies to keep you authenticated. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; however, doing so may prevent you from logging in to the Platform.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our active databases within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud).

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing, HTTPS encryption, secure session cookies, and database access controls to protect your personal information. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information via your account settings.
  • Delete your account and associated personal data using the "Delete Account" option in your account settings.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
  • Data portability: request a copy of your data in a commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at [email protected].

8. Children's Privacy

SeedlingsFarm.com is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
